Conference League Qual.: TNS – Differdange 23/07/2025
Match Odds Betting
Many teams eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers get a second chance in the Conference League qualifiers to extend their European campaigns. This definitely applies to these two rivals.
TNS is by far the most successful club in the history of the Welsh football league. Last season, they came very close to a major achievement against Shkendija from North Macedonia but conceded a goal in the final minutes of the second extra time and fell short. The Welsh league season hasn’t started yet, and TNS have only played a few preseason friendlies against local teams, without much success.
On the other hand, Differdange has been Luxembourg champions eight times, including the last two seasons. Although Luxembourg is a small country, its football quality is steadily improving, thanks to strong neighboring football nations like Germany, France, and Belgium.
I believe TNS are overrated in this matchup.
That’s just my opinion based on what I’ve seen from the Luxembourgers, who have quite a few foreigners in their squad – Portuguese, Spanish, French, Brazilians… Of course, these aren’t widely known or highly valued players, but TNS won’t easily secure a win here playing their typical style of bypassing the midfield. I expect a strong resistance from the visitors and that they’ll remain unbeaten. Given the odds above 4 for an away win, it’s definitely worth a minimal stake bet on Differdange’s victory.
