Premier League: Tottenham vs Chelsea 01/11/2025

Betting on Final Outcome
A big London derby takes place this evening Saturday as Spurs take on Chelsea. This game has seen some classics down the years, although not that many that Tottenham fans ever want to remember! The rivalry between these two is now a bit closer than the early years of the Premier League, where Tottenham went an incredible 16 years (1992-2006) without a win over Chelsea. Tottenham have been as poor at home this season as last year drawing with Wolves, and losing to Villa and Bournemouth in their last 3 games and to be honest ignore their away form as they are like chalk and cheese when home and away. That said Chelsea managed to lose at home to Sunderland last time out despite being in a hot run of form themselves going into that match. I am thinking that was more of a blip than the start of a downturn in form as they have been in impressive goalscoring form including a 5-1 win over Ajax recently. They have quality over all the pitch and they could simply run away with this one if they get a couple of early goals.
I can not see Chelsea losing this one and Spurs are unbackable at home at the moment. That is why Tottenham are priced up as outsiders in this match despite the “home advantage”, If you want to cover yourself take the lower odds on the 1X2 market on Chelsea but when you can get odds as high as 2.56 on Chelsea to beat Tottenham, and even being a Spurs fan, I would urge you to take them. These games are always tasty so keep an eye on the red card markets as well.
