EuroCup: Turk Telekom vs Besiktas 19/11/2025

Betting on Winner
A major Turkish derby awaits us in Round 8 of the EuroCup, a clash between Turk Telekom and Besiktas, two teams in exceptional form who currently share second place in Group B with a 5-2 record. We are in for a high-intensity matchup filled with energy, emotion, and tactical battles.
Turk Telekom, after a somewhat slower start to the season, has completely stabilized. The team has put together a series of excellent results and is now playing at the level expected from a deep and well-balanced roster. They are currently on a six-game winning streak across all competitions, and their only loss in the last ten games came against Fenerbahce in the Turkish league. Their offensive stability, defensive toughness, and growing confidence make them extremely dangerous on their home court.
On the other side, Dusan Alimpijevic’s team continues to play some of the best basketball in the entire competition. Besiktas has lost only once in their last 13 games, on the road in Podgorica against Buducnost, which was also their weakest performance of the season. Their response, however, was at a championship level: three dominant wins over Efes, Trento, and Trabzon put them back on track and confirmed that they are one of the main contenders for the top of the EuroCup.
This will be a major test for both teams, a game where small details will make the difference. I give a slight edge to Besiktas, a team that looks more cohesive, faster, and more tactically defined. Their roster has been together longer, and the playing style imposed by Alimpijevic brings stability and continuity.
Ankara Arena is traditionally a tough road venue, and very few teams will walk away with a win there this season. If there is one team that can do it, it is Besiktas.
