Essentially, this is a final for second place in a group where Spain has already secured the top spot.

Turkey plays for two results, as a draw would also work in their favor. With a draw, they maintain their three-point lead over Georgia, holding the head-to-head advantage as well, and would then only need a home win against weak Bulgaria (whom they just beat 6–1 away in Sofia three days ago) in the next round to secure second place. A win here would already guarantee it.

They have a very talented generation of players, play attacking football, and in front of their passionate crowd, their matches usually have a fast pace and chances on both sides. Defensively, they’re far from solid, having kept just one clean sheet in their last eight games.

Georgia, on the other hand, is a strong side, riding the momentum from their highly successful Euro campaign, and will give everything for the win. It won’t be easy — they’re not the favorites — but they have both attacking quality and toughness that can trouble the Turks.

In Tbilisi, Turkey won 3–2, and given the nature of this matchup, I expect another high-scoring game. I’m going with the combined bet of BTTS + Over, though there’s also value in the 1 + BTTS (around 3.00+) and in Over 24.5 fouls, in what should be a fast, intense game between two teams unafraid of playing physically.
