The Serbia Superliga will again follow the same format as last season. Sixteen teams will play in a double round-robin system, after which the top 8 will enter the Playoff and the bottom 8 will go into the Playout.

Vojvodina had a turbulent 2023/24 season and failed to secure a spot in European competitions, which is seen as a disappointment for a club of their size. Radnik Surdulica are one of the newly promoted sides, along with Javor.

The Novi Sad club sold two players during the transfer window. Seid Korac moved to Venezia, while Andrija Radulovic joined Rapid Vienna. A few new signings arrived as free transfers, including Mary and Mustapha. In preseason, they recorded several draws against Videoton, CSKA Sofia, and Mladost, along with a heavy 7–1 loss to Zenit, a team of much higher quality.

Radnik Surdulica were not very active in the transfer market. Most of the players who led them to promotion stayed, and a few youngsters from Crvena Zvezda’s youth system joined, potentially adding energy and freshness.

Vojvodina have the quality to start the season strong. Radnik might be capable of springing a surprise, but Miroslav Tanjga could set up a smart midfield trap. Njegus Petrovic and Jusuf are players who can make a difference in the center of the pitch. Two years ago, Vojvodina beat Radnik 3–0 at Karadjordje Stadium. While the odds on a home win are not particularly high, this pick is worth considering for a double or multi-bet.
