The World Series of Baseball is, despite its name, a competition that only sees teams from the USA (plus Toronto from Canada) compete. Despite this, it’s considered the premier World Baseball competition, surpassing even the World Baseball Classic for viewing figures and interest.
Beginning officially in 1903 when the National League (NL) and American leagues (AL) merged, the MLB now runs a fully professional competition on a yearly basis. With 30 franchised teams, packed stadiums, and weekly games from March to September, there is always plenty of interest in who will win the World Series across the USA.

Where to watch the 2026 MLB World Series
So let’s help you if you are looking for a 2026 MLB World Series live stream
The MLB has set up several TV and live streaming deals in 2026, which include Peacock, ESPN, NBC and streaming subscription service Netflix. Peacock-exclusive MLB games will be live on their brand-new NBCSN sports cable network.
There is quite a wide choice for matches and radio coverage packages have also been signed with media operators as well so you can find all the action but you may have to use a few different services if you want to watch every single game!
You can also access match text commentary on the official MLB site. Some bookmakers will offer live streaming for in-season games as well, so be aware to check what you need to do to access your chosen match feeds. All sportsbooks will have varying terms and conditions, including placing a bet on the live match, or simply holding a funded account.
Prediction for the 2026 MLB World Series
I’m going to say that the New York Yankees are going to finally give their long-suffering fans a series win. I just have the feeling that it’s a Yankees year. They are looking to strengthen their performance and have some real strong prospects like Spencer Jones and George Lomabard who, if they come good over the season alongside some strong free signings they are chasing, can see the long awaited 28th series win become a reality.
