Premier League Tips: Arsenal vs Brighton 27/12/25

Betting on Goals
Brighton travel to league leaders Arsenal on Saturday 27th December as a bit of a rarity there is only one boxing game day game in the EPL this season. Arsenal have started getting the kind of wins that champions get recently. The last-minute winner against Wolves, the scrappy 1-0 away against Everton…
As a Spurs fan at heart, it’s beginning to look depressingly like they might win the title this season (Finally?!) and also wrap up St Totteringham’s very early this season. That said they are only 2 points clear of Man City and a further 3 ahead of a resurgent Aston Villa, so hope springs eternal. Their six game form coming into this is won 4 drew 1 lost 1, and they won’t be overly worried about the Seagulls upcoming visit. Surprisingly, they have none of their major players away at the AFCON tournament, a problem that has hounded them in the past. Brighton looked out of sorts against Sunderland last time out and I was there to watch it as well. A pretty dire nil-nil draw and they are currently lacking anyone who looks capable of sticking the ball into the net. They show some nice build-up play but can’t seem to turn attacks into goals. This is not good news against the meanest defence in the Premier League. Arsenal have conceded just 10 goals in 17 outings this season and it’s a major part of why they are atop the table. I appreciate Arsenal have the EFL Cup Quarter Final against Palace in midweek but they will rest a few for that and really target this match to make sure they are still top of the table as 2026 begins.
Both the bookmakers and I agree that they are overwhelming favourites for this match. However they have priced Both Teams to score no at 1.95 at the moment. Having seen how poor Brighton have been going forward, that looks like a slip by them and I’m urging you to jump on it!
