Atletico Madrid made a decisive step toward the Champions League quarterfinals by winning 5-2 at home against Tottenham. In the league the top four and a Champions League place are practically secured, while they cannot realistically aim higher than third place. Essentially they have no clear targets left in La Liga and are expected to rotate several key players.

The solid and competitive Getafe show signs of improvement in their attacking play and after securing survival they are now realistically chasing a European spot. They are in excellent form, winning four of their last five league matches. They fear no opponent as shown by their three recent victories against top five teams Real Madrid, Villarreal and Betis.

Atletico are still the favorite but the match contains potential traps. They have scored in 13 of their 14 home games this season. Both teams to score is not usually a typical Getafe bet but recently they have become more dangerous in attack and will face an opponent with rotations.
