Crvena zvezda, under heavy pressure, hosts a tricky Paris Basketball side, with expectations that Cody Miller-McIntyre once again leads the team and dominates playmaking.
Player Assists Betting
For Crvena zvezda, this is practically a “do or die” game – wins in the remaining two matches against French teams are imperative if the season is not to lose its meaning after everything built over the past months. The pressure has increased even further following the loss in the eternal derby, and now they face a very uncomfortable Paris team that has already convincingly outplayed them once this season.
A major issue for Zvezda is the poor form of much of the roster at the most important stage of the season, but that is certainly not the case with Cody Miller-McIntyre. The experienced point guard is having the best season of his career and has established himself as the key player of the team. Averaging 7.5 assists per game, he leads the EuroLeague in that category, and in the last five games he has elevated his performance even further, averaging as many as 10 assists.
Although there is already speculation about his potential move to Olympiacos next season, it has not affected his performances – quite the opposite. Miller-McIntyre shows maximum commitment and consistency. He enjoys full trust from head coach Saša Obradović, which is expected given the limited contribution from other playmakers on the roster.
Considering the importance of the game and Paris’ playing style, which favors a fast pace and a high number of possessions, Miller-McIntyre is expected to log heavy minutes once again and have plenty of opportunities to create. In such conditions, his assist production could once again reach a high level.
