Premier League: Brentford vs Tottenham 01/01/2026

Double Chance Betting
Thomas Frank returns to the Brentford Community Stadium for the first time since leaving the club he led so successfully for seven full years – this time as Tottenham’s head coach. Spurs have had a rather unusual season so far: they look powerless at home, with just 8 points from 9 matches and as many as 5 defeats, while at the same time they are the most successful away side in the league in terms of points collected.
A few days after their away victory at Crystal Palace, Tottenham face another demanding task against Brentford. The Bees are once again doing a solid job this season, despite having lost their best attacking players over the summer and currently being without several key figures for various reasons.
This will be the second meeting between these two sides this season. In the first encounter, Spurs claimed a routine 2–0 home win, with goals from Richarlison and Simons. On that occasion, Frank used his excellent knowledge of Brentford to neutralize their trademark style of play with a superb tactical setup.
I expect him to apply a similar approach in the upcoming match and for Tottenham to return from another away trip unbeaten.
