Premier League: Burnley vs Tottenham 24/01/2026

First to Score Betting
Burnley will be looking forward to Spurs visiting Turf Moor on Saturday and hoping they can use it as a way out of the awful rut of results they have got themselves in the way West Ham did at the weekend. They are on a run of 13 games without a league win at the moment and will be relegated well before April if this form continues. However they have looked good in their last two outings, draws with both Liverpool and Man Utd and given Tottenham’s fragile confidence, this must be a game they are targeting a win in. They have a decent record at home against their opponents as well. Spurs on the other hand are sat in mid-table and are all over the place. They probably bought manager Thomas Frank some time with the barely believable midweek win at home to Dortmund, but the performance against West Ham the Saturday before was probably the worst of the season. New signings are coming in and it’s do or die for the manager at the moment so he needs to win this as well. Weirdly, I can see this being a bit of a free hit for Burnley who can just throw the kitchen sink at Tottenham and see if they can get some points. The Spurs players will actually be the ones feeling the pressure. I know that seems odd considering their positions in the table. I’m not predicting a direct outcome for this one I have a feeling Spurs will be able to edge it and build on the midweek win. However I have a sneaking suspicion that Burnley will manage to draw first blood so I’m looking at them to score first and like the odds showing at just under 2.5 on this to happen with a few bookmakers.
