Super League Greece: Panserraikos – Asteras Tripolis 08/04/2026
Panserraikos and Asteras face a crucial relegation clash, with the hosts in better form and gaining momentum in recent matches. The analysis highlights Asteras’ poor overall record and inconsistency, making the draw no bet option on Panserraikos a valuable pick.
Draw no bet (DNB) betting
Everyone had written off Panserraikos. Their poor results, combined with their performances, left little room for optimism. With the winter additions and Zaragoza on the bench, the team improved significantly in the second part of the season and after the away win at Kifisia in the playout opener, they re-entered the survival battle.
From early February until now, they have a 3-3-1 record in league matches, with the only defeat coming against Olympiacos.
Asteras is the disappointment of this Super League season, as they started aiming for a top eight finish and European playoffs and ended up at the bottom of the standings.
Despite coaching changes, they did not really improve during the season and found themselves in a very difficult position. However, they also started the playouts with a win (3-1 at home against AEL), boosting their hopes for survival.
This is a six pointer with both teams coming from important wins. Panserraikos have been consistently competitive lately, while Asteras won a match after two months. In 2026 they have an overall record of 2-1-10.
Thus, although they may theoretically have slightly better players, I cannot consider them favorites. I find value in the draw no bet Asian handicap for the hosts, offered at odds above even money and returning the stake in case of a draw.
