Premier League Tips: Man Utd vs Newcastle 26/12/2025

Betting on Final Outcome
Manchester United definitely look better this season than they did last year, but that is still not enough to satisfy the expectations of this English giant’s fans. The Red Devils’ performances remain full of ups and downs, especially in defence, which was clearly evident in matches against Bournemouth (4–4) and Aston Villa (1–2). The situation is further complicated by the fact that coach Rúben Amorim will be without a number of key players in the coming period for various reasons — Bruno Fernandes, Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire — forcing him to shuffle his pack significantly.
Newcastle are far from brilliant themselves this season. Eddie Howe’s side have also struggled for consistency, particularly away from home, where they often find things difficult. However, unlike his counterpart on the opposite bench, Howe currently has more quality options in midfield and attack, which gives his team greater depth and stability.
Manchester United are a very attractive opponent at the moment, and all of the home side’s weaknesses could be seriously punished. I expect Newcastle to seize the opportunity and, as they did last season, come away with a victory at Old Trafford.
