GGBet was founded in 2016. Coming from a background in esports, GGBet offer odds and markets on a huge range of esports games, alongside a standard Sportsbook.
GGBet are operated by ASG 360 Services Limited. The operator is licenced by River Entertainment B.V, whose registered address is in Willemstad, Curacao. For clarity, their gambling services licence number is 158146. We haven’t found any evidence of any rule breaks from either GGBet or their operators ASG 360.
The GGBet site looks rather different than many other Swiss betting sites we’ve reviewed. There are photo icons of sports players, such as headshots of players in tennis’ Australian Open.
The site is dark with splashes of colour to enhance its visual impact. Odds, for instance, are coloured purple to make them stand out from the background.
The site is really well laid out. Click on Bets in the top left corner to access the Sportsbook. On the left hand side of the page, you’ll find your Favourites, the Free Bets tab and your Bonus Chest. Under this, the most popular sports currently taking place are listed, followed by the All Sports menu. With all options being laid out well, it’s easy to find and access the sports you’re looking to bet on.
Live betting options take up the majority of the homepage. You’ll find the top events currently taking place displayed, along with current odds on the most common markets. For example, the Australian Open’s Men’s Singles dominated this display, featuring live odds on the Moneyline, Game Spread and Total Games markets.
Bettors can add specific matches to their Favourites tab, but there’s no option to add a particular sport or competition. To add to your Favourites, click on the Star icon that you can find in the top left of the match or event you want to bet on. Doing so gives you easier access to the event which can be useful if you’re keeping an eye on potential odds changes or want to add to a bet.
The Search bar function is also a useful tool. Enter the team or competition you’re looking for odds on and all relevant fixtures will be displayed.
Loading times are incredibly quick on the GGBet website. Another impressive aspect, which we’ll discuss in more detail later, is the live streaming available on site. The streams are incredibly clear, with great visual and audio capabilities. What’s also pleasing is that streams are automatically available once you click on the live game, without the need to open up a new tab or window.
Talking of live games, there are plenty of options available. In addition to esports, which dominates this section, there are football and tennis games to bet on in-play, amongst other sports. More of this later.
Accessing the Payments section is a simple task. To add funds to your account, click on the Deposit icon in the top right of the screen. Note, though, that you will need to complete your profile in the Settings menu to be able to make payments to and from your betting account. This includes verifying your mobile phone number.
