Bayern München vs Union Berlin

Bundesliga · Sep 18, 2026 · 18:30

Final score: Bayern München 7–0 Union Berlin

Match preview

Bayern München kick off their Bundesliga campaign at home on September 18, 2026, welcoming Union Berlin to the Allianz Arena. The reigning champions are in pristine early season form, boasting a perfect record with five goals scored and none conceded in their solitary outing. This immediately establishes them as formidable opponents.

Union Berlin, however, arrive with a starkly contrasting narrative. Their recent form is concerning, failing to secure a win in their last five matches, with two draws and three losses highlighting their struggles. Historically, matches between these two have seen Bayern dominate, securing comfortable wins in their most recent encounters. While Union have managed draws in the past, their current win probability of 0% underscores the monumental task ahead. For Bayern, the focus will be on maintaining their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, while Union will desperately seek a breakthrough performance to kickstart their season and defy the odds.
