WC 2026: Australia vs Egypt 03/07/2026
Egypt Draw No Bet (DNB) at odds of around 1.70 looks like the best betting option for this matchup.

The Pharaohs came through the group stage unbeaten and left the impression of a well-organized side that rarely loses control of matches. Draws against Belgium and Iran, combined with a victory over New Zealand, were enough to secure their place in the knockout stage.
Australia also advanced, but with far less consistency. They defeated Turkey 2-0, played out a goalless draw with Paraguay, and suffered a 2-0 defeat to the United States. Scoring only two goals in three group matches underlines their struggles in the final third. To make matters worse, experienced winger Matthew Leckie has been ruled out through injury, meaning much of the attacking responsibility is expected to fall on younger players such as Mohamed Toure.
As for Egypt, much will depend on Mohamed Salah, whose availability remains uncertain after a hamstring injury. Even without him, however, Egypt appear to be the more tactically disciplined and balanced side. Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohamed possess enough quality to trouble a disciplined but offensively limited Australian team. I expect a tight and competitive contest, but Egypt should have the edge. The Draw No Bet market provides valuable protection if the match ends level after 90 minutes while still offering solid value if the higher-quality Egyptian side gets the job done in regular time.
