BBL: Alba vs Bayern 19/06/2026

The Bundesliga Finals series continues at a fast and efficient pace, and despite being behind, Alba has shown enough offensive quality to remain competitive in Game 4 and maintain a high scoring output.
Betting on total points
The clash between the two best German clubs of the past decade in this season’s playoff finals is living up to expectations. Bayern responded in Game 3 by taking back the break, going up 2–1 in the series, and now sits just one step away from defending the title.
In the previous game, as throughout the entire series, we saw an attractive matchup, high tempo, plenty of points, and a great atmosphere in the stands, despite Alba playing away from their Uber Arena due to scheduling conflicts.
The first quarter was evenly matched both in play and on the scoreboard. In the second period, Bayern built a more noticeable lead of nine points, but Alba managed to regroup and cut the deficit to a single possession before halftime. Up until the middle of the final quarter, the game remained tightly contested, with neither team able to pull away by more than five points. With just under six minutes remaining, the score was tied at 69–69, before Bayern’s most experienced players — Vladimir Lučić, Andreas Obst, and Nenad Dimitrijević — took control, scoring in key moments to create a decisive gap and secure a very important win.
Despite the loss, Alba has made a very strong impression throughout the series. I have to admit they positively surprised me with their level of play in these playoffs, and they are clearly playing their best basketball at the end of the season — a sign of a well-coached team. Defense has been an issue for them in this series, but offensively they are performing at a high level, as shown by their average of 88 points per game in the first three matchups.
Their shooting percentages from the field and free-throw line could even be slightly better, but that is not a major concern when playing at such a fast pace, especially considering that a good portion of their points come from fast breaks and offensive rebounds. I believe there is a strong chance they will once again go over the set points line in Game 4.
