The Conference League final in Leipzig is the penultimate match of the European season and brings together two clubs with almost no major success outside their domestic borders.

Crystal Palace have been on a constant rise over the last two years. Financially healthy and guided by coach Glasner, they managed to exceed expectations by eliminating Shakhtar and Fiorentina without major problems in the knockout rounds. Only by winning the trophy will they secure participation in European competitions again next season. They have scored in ten consecutive matches across all competitions, possessing several quality attacking and creative midfield players.

Neither side is known for defensive solidity. The Spaniards do not function well when forced to sit deep, while the London club are expected to approach the final aggressively and try to dominate. This could easily turn into an entertaining match for neutral fans, with chances and goals at both ends.
