Bayern is having a tremendous season and by general consensus has played the best football this year. They have already secured the league title, are in the Cup final and despite losing the first leg, remain the top favorite with bookmakers to win the Champions League.

They score goals relentlessly against any opponent, but defensively they appear extremely vulnerable. In the first match in Paris, they tried to dominate the game. They created quality chances, scored four goals, yet still lost. The final 5-4 leaves a sense of injustice but also reflects their playing identity.
