EuroLeague: Baskonia vs Milano 02/10/2026
Moses Wright has shown in the early part of the season that he is one of Milan’s most reliable offensive options, and against Baskonia — considering their issues at the big man positions — he should have enough space to impose his game in the paint and improve his scoring output compared to the first two EuroLeague rounds.

Moses Wright arrived at Milan somewhat unexpectedly after it became clear that Barcelona would not be able to meet his financial demands, despite having reached a preliminary agreement with him just a month earlier. It quickly became evident that he would be a major addition to the team, especially after they were left without their starting center from previous seasons, Josh Nebo.
Already during the preseason, Wright established himself as one of the team’s most reliable offensive options, and he carried that form into the opening games of the season. He was by far Milan’s best player in their Italian Super Cup triumph, scoring 20 points against Virtus in the semifinal and 23 points against Venezia in the final. However, in the opening two EuroLeague rounds, he was somewhat quieter, scoring just 6 points against Partizan and 11 in the win over Virtus. Now, he will have an ideal opportunity to improve his scoring numbers in an away game against what is arguably one of the weakest teams in the EuroLeague — Baskonia.
Baskonia have shown significant defensive issues and lapses at the start of the season. They have a large number of new players, along with a clear lack of quality options at the center position. Their starting center is the barely 2-meter-tall veteran Kenneth Faried, while Kurucs and Sedekerskis — both naturally power forwards — are also being forced to cover minutes at the five. In such a setup, there should be plenty of space for Wright to dominate inside the paint. He excels in pick-and-roll situations, can create his own shot, has a solid mid-range game, and is also comfortable in an up-tempo style of play, which is likely to be the case here. I believe he will go over this points line.
