EuroLeague: Besiktas vs Olympiacos 28/10/2026
Due to the large number of injured players in Olympiacos’ backcourt, Codi Miller-McIntyre should get more minutes and a bigger offensive role, which, combined with his good form, could allow him to continue his efficient scoring performances.

In Round 8 of the EuroLeague, Beşiktaş will host the reigning champions, Olympiacos. The Istanbul side has recorded three wins so far, but interestingly, only one of them came on home court. Coach Alimpijević has some issues with absences, as Furkan Korkmaz and Lonnie Walker are both questionable, but nowhere near as many as his counterpart Bartzokas, who is facing serious headaches due to a long list of injured players.
For this game, among others, he will be without Milutinov, Fournier, Montero and the suspended Dorsey, while it remains uncertain whether new signing Konchar will make his debut.
As in the previous game against Fenerbahçe, Olympiacos will be short on guards, or, to use basketball jargon, players who are “strong on the ball.” Once again, this will mean increased minutes for Codi Miller-McIntyre, as well as a significantly higher usage rate than he had at the start of the season.
In previous seasons at Crvena Zvezda, CMM showed that he functions best when he gets heavy minutes and can push the ball in transition, and I believe that will be exactly the case in tonight’s game in Istanbul. Last week against Fenerbahçe, in a very physical game, he scored 12 points even though his shot wasn’t falling at all, while in the previous road game against Barcelona he put up 17 points.
I believe he will continue his good scoring form against Beşiktaş as well and that, with an expected bigger role in Olympiacos’ offense, he will manage to reach at least 12 points.
