Betting on the Asian Handicap

Celtic FC have not started the season in the best way. In the league they have only wins, but without a proper derby test, while on Sunday they were knocked out of the League Cup, losing 3–0 to their biggest rivals, Rangers FC.

In Europe, they were eliminated from the Champions League despite a 3–0 home win, in a match where, realistically, they were not the better side. In the return leg, however, they looked completely harmless. Although they took a 1–0 lead, they lost 4–1 in regular time, and after extra time even 5–1. In that game, LASK Linz recorded as many as 40 shots and 4.81 xG.

Ferencváros, on the other hand, have made an excellent start to the season. They have progressed through three consecutive qualifying rounds and reached the league phase, eliminating some very serious opponents along the way. After away wins against FC Twente and Trabzonspor, odds of around 5.00 for them in Glasgow seem excessive.
