Greece Super League: Panserraikos vs AEL 02/05/2026
Panserraikos have improved significantly under Saragosa and moved above the danger zone, while AEL are bottom and in poor form with a long winless run. Given the contrasting momentum, the home side appears undervalued despite bookmakers slightly favoring AEL.

Until mid-February, Panserraikos was stuck at the bottom of the standings, with only theoretical chances of survival. However, thanks to the work of Saragosa and the winter signings, the team improved rapidly and with a 5-4-2 record, is now above the danger zone.
Last Sunday, they secured an important “six-pointer” away win in Larisa, in a match where they significantly limited their opponent and scored from their own limited chances.
AEL is in a very poor competitive and psychological state. They are now at the bottom of the table, one point below Asteras Tripolis and three behind Panserraikos. They had three consecutive wins in late January and since then have gone twelve matches without a win (0-5-7). The new coaching change does not seem to have helped, as in Festa’s debut, the team lost 1-0 at home to Serres.
Saragosa’s team has clearly been in better form for quite some time and in a home match against the disappointing AEL, the balanced odds are surprising. The bookmaker even gives a slight edge to the away side, which has been winless for three months. There is value in the home side’s Asian handicap (0), offered at odds close to doubling.
