Betting on both teams to score

Everything is over in the title race with AEK crowned champions, while the battle for the valuable second place continues between PAOK and Olympiacos.

PAOK escaped with a draw from Karaiskakis and still hold their fate in their own hands regarding second place. Their performances have not been convincing, but they collected four points against Olympiacos and now have a clear advantage. With a victory here they will move even closer to their goal and that is exactly what they will try to achieve against a team currently celebrating the championship title. The problem is that Lucescu’s side lacks energy, does not inspire confidence defensively and will probably struggle to keep the visitors away from chances. At the same time though, PAOK have looked consistently dangerous in attack since the returns of Konstantelias and Zivkovic.

I do not expect many changes from AEK in the starting lineup. In any case, there will naturally be less pressure and more freedom after securing the title, but I do not believe the visitors will simply let the match pass by. They should definitely create scoring opportunities against the vulnerable PAOK defense.

With the defensive image PAOK currently show, they will likely concede here, but AEK’s relaxed approach should also allow the hosts to create chances and we know PAOK do not need many opportunities to score.

The odds on goal/goal are good enough for a bet and worth the risk.
