Champions League: PSG vs Slovan Bratislava 09/09/2026

The home side comes into this match as a clear favorite, and it is difficult to find many arguments in favor of the visitors. PSG have not been at their best in Ligue 1 recently, but the Champions League brings a different level of motivation and focus. Slovan Bratislava arrive at the Parc des Princes following a 0-2 defeat to DAC, so it is clear they are facing one of the toughest possible challenges.

Prediction (1 & Over 1.5 goals first-half goals)

I expect PSG to impose their rhythm from the very start. Luis Enrique’s side look at their best when playing aggressively, with a high press and plenty of players getting forward, while Slovan will struggle to cope with that kind of intensity. The visitors will probably try to keep things tight for as long as possible, but against a PSG side like this, it will be very difficult to withstand the pressure.

The Parisians have more than enough quality to open the game early, and I don’t expect them to take any unnecessary risks by allowing the visitors to stay in the game.
