Denmark Superliga: Randers vs Lyngby 09/08/2026
Lyngby have made a much stronger impression at the start of the season, making the Lyngby +0.25 Asian Handicap look like a valuable betting option that still offers a profit if the match ends in a draw.

Randers finished last season amid plenty of criticism, having secured their top-flight status only in the very final stages of the campaign, and the new season has started in much the same fashion. The team is once again struggling to produce convincing football and, after two rather passive performances, have collected just one point from their opening matches.
Newly promoted Lyngby, on the other hand, have impressed with the quality of their football. On the opening weekend, they went toe-to-toe with Copenhagen away from home despite eventually losing 3-2. They led 2-1 at halftime, dominated for long periods and finished the match with a 21-6 advantage in shots on target (21-12 in total shots) and 2.34 xG.
Last weekend, they were clearly the better side against reigning champions Aarhus, with the final 2-2 scoreline doing them little justice. They conceded the equalizer in stoppage time, having previously registered a 21-8 advantage in shots (8-3 on target) and 3.37 xG.
This time, however, Lyngby will face a team with similar ambitions, so we will get a better indication of how they perform in this type of match. Based on what we have seen in the opening two rounds, though, I certainly do not consider them underdogs.
The Lyngby +0.25 Asian Handicap, available at around even money, makes sense as a betting option and still offers a profit if the match ends in a draw.
