The United States have impressed throughout the tournament with their high-intensity style and look well placed to overcome Bosnia and Herzegovina. With the Americans likely to play on the front foot and the underdogs expected to chase the game if they fall behind, Over 2.5 Goals offers the best betting value.

The United States were outstanding in their first two group-stage matches, the games that truly mattered. Pochettino has built a side that plays with tremendous intensity and aggression. Although the United States have yet to face one of the tournament’s elite teams, their overall performances suggest they are capable of making a deep run. Bosnia are certainly a favorable opponent on paper, but that has already been reflected in the betting markets. With the Americans priced around 1.40 to win, there is little value in the outright market, while the short odds also reduce the appeal of most combination bets.

I am still not completely convinced by the United States defensively, and knockout matches often develop into open, high-intensity contests, especially if the underdog is forced to chase the game.
