User Experience

There is a Search function available, but we found it easier to use the Main Menu to find our sports of choice. For some reason, the Search function didn’t display upcoming games, rather future fixtures which was a little confusing.

While there’s no mobile app available, customers can use the Legiano site by visiting it using their mobile browser. As with the desktop site, all aspects are laid out well and it’s easy to navigate through and find the sports you want to bet on.

Site Usability

There are a number of factors we take into account when we review an online betting site. User experience is one of the most important topics to cover. In particular, we examine how easy it is to navigate through the site, how quick loading times are, how quickly payments are processed and how easy it is to place a bet.

Also included in this research is the overall theme of the betting site. The Legiano site lends itself to the Gladiator/Roman theme across all pages, both in text boxes and background imagery. While it’s prominent, and a matter of taste of course, it didn’t affect our overall experience.

Navigating through the site was simple enough, though for certain sports we found that fixtures were listed out of order. For example, for NBA games, fixtures taking place next month were listed, but closer fixtures were more difficult to find.

There is a Search function, which works pretty well. Type in a league or competition you’re looking to bet on and those fixtures will be displayed in a matter of seconds.

We tested the Legiano site at different times of the day to see if ever there’s any lag or slow loading times, particularly on live betting odds. We’re impressed with loading times, we didn’t encounter any issues with speed during any part of our testing using the desktop site.

Using the mobile version of the site was equally as pleasing. There currently isn’t a dedicated Legiano mobile app, but customers can access the desktop site using their mobile browser. It works well, set out nicely and provided a similar experience.

One thing to point out too is that Top Bets and Popular Bets take up a lot of the screen on both desktop and mobile sites. Even on a bet slip, underneath your selection is a Top Bets section encouraging you to place that wager.

While there’s a lot of information on screen, it doesn’t appear too cluttered or busy. Everything is laid out well, in reasonably large font too. It’s easy to access your chosen sports and events using the Menu on the left hand side of the page. Customers can also set their Favourites by clicking on the Star icon next to each different league and competition.

There are a variety of language options to choose from. In fact, options at Legiano are plentiful. Click on the Language icon in the bottom left of your screen when you login to your account. You’ll then be presented with all language options.

At Legiano, customers have a wide variety of deposit and withdrawal methods they can choose from. Minimum and maximum limits vary, depending on which method you’re using. How to deposit at Legiano

How to withdraw from Legiano

If you’ve been lucky enough to win a bet and have a positive balance, you’ll be able to make a withdrawal. There are a range of withdrawal methods available to Legiano customers. As with deposits, minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts can vary, depending on which method you’re using. Processing time frames also differ, with online wallets generally the quickest of all Legiano withdrawal options. In the table below, we’ve detailed general speed information on when you should receive your withdrawal. As you’ve seen, Legiano offer an incredible amount of payment options, including Crypto. Online wallets, like Skrill and Neteller, are also available. Note, though, that for the welcome bonus we discussed at the top of this guide, online wallets are not eligible.

The minimum deposit amount for most methods is a rather low €10. For BinancePay, the minimum is €20, and it’s €30 to deposit via Bitcoin. There are no fees attached to any method, though check with your finance provider that no charges will be applied at their end.

Deposits are made instantly, meaning once you’ve confirmed the transaction it should only take a second or two to have these funds added to your account.

As with deposits, there is a fantastic range of withdrawal methods customers can choose from at Legaino. Once you request a withdrawal, it can take up to three days to be processed. Placing a bet at Legiano is easy. Let’s show you how.

1. Use the Menu to select which sport you want to bet on. You can use either the left-hand side options, or you can easily find the sport of your choice in the menu going across the middle of your screen.
2. The upcoming fixtures in your chosen sport will then be displayed. Click on the match you want to bet on to open up all available markets.
3. Next, click on the odds you want to bet on. Your choice will then be added to your bet slip in the bottom right of the page. You can then add more selections to make a Multi-bet. If you want to place a Singles bet, enter your stake in the box provided and click Confirm.

There are a variety of bet types Legiano customers can place. As well as a Singles bet, customers can also place Multi-bets (accumulators) or System bets. With Multi-bets, the more selections you add the bigger the bonus you could receive on successful bets. For example, four selections gives a reward of a 3% bonus on top of any winnings you might make. These options are available on your bet slip once you add a selection.

Other operators have non-sports events available to bet on, such as Politics or Novelty markets. At the time of writing, Legiano did not offer these types of bets.

For the welcome bonus we talked about earlier, there is a 6x the deposit and bonus amount wagering requirement. Some existing customer promotions also come with wagering requirements. At the time of writing, there isn’t a dedicated Legiano app available for either iOS or Android operating systems. However, mobile play is still possible. Visit the Legiano site using your mobile browser to access mobile betting.

As we’ve looked at, Legiano offer a comprehensive live betting service. Customers can bet on a whole host of live sports and events. Access is gained via the Live tab. As with their pre-match odds, Legiano’s in-play prices are pretty standard, compared to other Swiss bookmakers.

While in-play betting has become an incredibly popular way of placing wagers, it can be frustrating. There can be bet placement delays and suspensions happen often, due to the events in a particular fixture. For instance, if you’re looking to bet on a football match and a player has just been sent off, all markets will be suspended while the bookmaker readjusts their odds. Odds fluctuate often. If an odds box is red, this means those odds have just shortened. If the odds box is green, it means the price has lengthened.

Live streaming is also an option on selected sports. Events that are available for live streaming will have a small TV icon next to it. Click on this and the stream will open in the box on the right hand side of your screen.

At Legiano, customer support is available 24/7. Customers can contact the support team using either Live Chat or email channels. Also available is an in-depth FAQ section.

You can contact the support team in any language. Note, though, that on occasion your message and the replies you receive might go through a translator. This sometimes means that responses are difficult to understand, but generally we didn’t have any issues with getting our queries answered.

Email responses took just a couple of hours, with Live Chat taking mere minutes. Excellent response times and general customer service are other good ways of distinguishing a good bookmaker from a bad one.

Conclusion

There’s lots to be impressed with at Legiano. There’s a decent range of sports, both pre-match and in the live betting facility. Live streaming is also an option.

There’s a huge number of deposit and withdrawal methods available. There are no fees attached to any method either, and minimum amounts are reasonably low.

While the Roman Gladiator theme can be somewhat in-your-face, it doesn’t really affect the overall experience either on mobile or using the desktop site.

Talking of mobile betting, while it’s disappointing there’s no dedicated mobile app yet, the mobile version of the desktop site more than makes up for this.

We would like to see more sports and events added to the site, but it currently covers some of the most popular leagues and tournaments.

Overall, Legiano performed very well in our testing and research. While there’s improvements to be made for sure, we do expect Legiano to impress Swiss bettors in the coming months.
